How to purchase a car

There are many options for buying equipment when you decide to go racing. You can purchase new factory Legends and Bandoleros through Premier Motorsports Racing and we also have a selection of used cars to choose from.

Deciding whether to buy new or used is similar to choosing whether to buy a new or used car for the street -- except there is no Car Fax for racecars! But similar principles apply, obviously the advantage of a new car is that you know the crash damage history -- there isn't any! On the other hand, this is racing, you will have some crashes, and you will be making some repairs. So, if you are just starting out and want to take it slowly because you aren't yet sure of your abilities you may want to save some money out of the gate and get your feet wet with a car that has some races on it. But that being said, there are also plenty of used cars around that can run with the best of them.

So, if you have racing or mechanical experience and you are capable of tearing the car down to the bare chassis when you buy it, then you know whether or not you prefer to have a new car with fresh parts, or take your chances with a use car because you know what needs fixing anyway.
